Egypt’s Top Multi-Sport Festival Returns to Somabay in 2025

Somabay is delighted to announce the return of Egypt’s biggest multi-sport event, the Somabay Endurance Festival, taking place from Thursday 29 to Saturday 31 May 2025.
Organised by The TriFactory – Egypt’s leading provider of endurance sports – the festival will welcome athletes from around the world for an exciting series of races.
The TriFactory’s Somabay Endurance Festival welcomes participants of all levels, from first timers to seasoned triathletes aged 5 to 70 to tackle a variety of classic multi-sport distances, including Supersprint, Sprint, Olympic,and Youth Races, alongside the popular 10K Run and 1K Kids Race. With individual and relay formats, the course offers adventure at every turn, from swimming in crystal-clear waters with lifeguard support, to cycling through scenic climbs and flats with on-course mechanics and running along a stunning Red Sea promenade.
The three-day festival kicks off on Thursday 29 May with race pack collection and briefing sessions at the vibrant Somabay Marina, followed by an exciting schedule of events taking place across Friday 30 and Saturday 31 May, complete with award ceremonies to celebrate top athletes in all age categories.
The event will feature the latest in race timing technology, with all participants tracked using the MyLaps electronic timing system to ensure accurate results and fair competition across age groups and gender. Registration is now open, with entry fees ranging from £3 to £35 depending on the package, with all entries including race bags, caps, medals, certificates, and a commemorative event t-shirt.
