Winter golf breaks at Thorpeness Golf Club & Hotel

Tucked away on the Suffolk Heritage Coast, the Thorpeness Golf Club & Hotel is offering winter golf breaks from November through to March. 

The combination of fantastic ground and dedicated greenkeepers, means that Thorpeness is one of the few courses able to offer great golf all year round.

Just a stone’s throw from the sea and regarded as one of the finest golf courses in Suffolk, Thorpeness is a classic British heathland course, designed by five-time Open Champion James Braid. The 6,311-yard, par 70 course will appeal to golfers of all abilities.

The one or two night breaks are ideal for couples looking to play a round or two of golf together. If one partner is not as experienced a golfer as the other, they can book coaching with a golf pro.  

One-night dinner, B&B winter golf breaks include up to two rounds of golf over the two days with a three-course a la carte evening meal in Ogilvie’s Grill House and freshly cooked breakfast. All priced from £113.50 per person Monday to Thursday and £118.50 over weekends, based on two sharing a double or twin standard room. 

The two-night breaks include dinner both evenings and up to three rounds of golf from £202pp. Room upgrades available for an extra £10pp.

Dogs are welcome to stay in the hotel (extra) and onto the golf course, they can also sit alongside their owners while dining in the hotel’s Braid’s Bar.
