Ikos Resorts Announce New Football Escapes

Ikos Resorts is delighted to unveil an exciting line-up of star-studded football coaching sessions throughout 2024 at its collection of luxury all-inclusive resorts in the Mediterranean, in partnership with the world-class Football Escapes team for the fourth consecutive year. With sessions led by Premier League legends including Michael Owen and the first female headliner to grace Ikos Resorts, former Lioness Fara Williams, Ikos promises an unmissable season for football fanatic families to enjoy. 

Rolling out in April through to the beginning of November, Ikos Resorts will host a variety of five-day (Monday – Friday) immersive football sessions for children aged five-15 across its portfolio of sun-soaked resorts in Greece and Spain. Taught by the best in the business, the Football Escapes sessions will be supported by UEFA-licensed coaches and led by former professional players including Fara Williams, Michael Owen, Theo Walcott, Aaron Lennon, Anton Ferdinand, Ledley King, Owen Hargreaves, Gary Cahill, Michael Dawson, Bobby Zamora, Shay Given, Darren Bent and Marlon Harwood. 

Budding players will be able to meet their heroes and enjoy access to two hours of exclusive coaching per day with the players themselves as parents support from the sidelines, offering a rare opportunity for one-to-one interaction with those at the top of their field. The sessions are suitable for all abilities so everyone is welcome, and children will receive a full personalised Rascal kit as well as a signed certificate and medal to celebrate completing the camp.

Rates for the Football Escapes programmes vary based on the resort and dates, and bookings are subject to availability. 

A sample rate is £8,905 for two adults and two children staying in a Junior Suite Private Garden View Room at Ikos Aria for seven nights from the 24th August 2024, including football coaching with Theo Walcott for one child and private airport transfers.
