With the ambition of transforming eating habits and the food industry for the better, making nutritious, delicious food the norm, Pollen + Grace are now serving up a NEW chef-crafted, plant-packed range of chilled ready meals, that provide over a third of your weekly plant points score in a single portion.

As the importance of plant diversity continues to garner attention, the new ready meals have been designed to simplify everyday life and navigate through the myriad of ultra-processed options and confusing label systems with a home-cooked feel, delivering a tasty plant-based take on well-loved dinnertime classics without any compromises.
With 1 in 4 people now seeking meals that replace animal protein with plant ingredients[1], the range provides honest, veg-led options that not only taste great but are genuinely better for you.

 *   Rich Aubergine + Lentil Moussaka: The protein-packed, plant-based staple of slow-cooked tomato + lentil ragu seasoned with basil and mint is served between layers of roasted aubergine and potato, topped with a rich cashew nut béchamel sauce and a paprika breadcrumb topping. Scores 10 plant points.
 *   Warming Saag Aloo Potato Pie: A firm restaurant and takeaway favourite among Brits, this fusion dish combines comfort with cuisine exploration. Saag Aloo meets Shepherd’s Pie with a warming lentil, chickpea, and spinach masala base, topped with spiced potato mash and nigella seeds[i]. Scores 13 plant points.
 *   Fragrant Thai Red Vegetable Curry: A dish that delivers a restaurant experience at home – baby corn, bamboo shoots, red pepper and green beans are served in a fragrant Thai red-style sauce served with brown basmati and wild rice. Scores 12 plant points.

Based on the latest nutritional advice to eat at least 30 different plants each week[2], Pollen + Grace will pioneer a new approach to health on pack. Signposting the ‘plant points’ per meal, with each type of vegetable, fruit, nut, seed and wholegrain counting as one point, and herb or spice a quarter, consumers can quickly judge the wellness-boosting plant diversity per portion.

Founders Stephanie Kingston and Kristina Komlosiova emphasise their commitment to transparency and plant-centric nutrition: “30 a week is the new 5 a day, and we’ve set out to make a holistically healthy diet as simple as possible with our new launch. With so many on trend plant-based foods shouting about gut health or protein, yet being packed full of artificial sweeteners and unnatural substances, eating well in 2024 can be a minefield.  At Pollen + Grace, we’re proud to champion the best flavours nature has to offer, with a fresh and diverse approach to plant-based food that delivers a range of nutritional benefits, supports the gut microbiome and contributes to overall wellbeing”

The ready meals join the nutritious food-to-go salad bowls, which became the premium salad of choice in the Tesco, Co-Op, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s Premium Meal Deals last year, and new wraps range.
Pollen + Grace Ready Meals are available in Co-op, Ocado, Booths and Amazon plus independent retailers, with an RRP of £4.55-£6.
