London Fashion Week; Cars inspired by iconic fashion brands

This year marks the 40th anniversary of London Fashion Week, running from Friday the 16th of February until Tuesday the 20th of February.
Some of the world’s most famous fashion brands have made their mark on the iconic event over the years.
And to celebrate this year’s milestone, the team at Select Car Leasing has harnessed the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create unique car designs inspired by some of the biggest fashion houses of all time:
Chanel

Chanel is a luxury fashion house founded in 1910 by Coco Chanel in Paris, France. The brand is well known for its elegance, style and simplicity.
This is clearly replicated in the car design, which features a classic, vintage vehicle in Chanel’s signature black, white and gold colours.
Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton is a French powerhouse well-known for its iconic monogram which features the brand’s initials in a pattern of interlocking ‘LV’s.
The AI-generated vehicle includes key elements of the brand’s characteristics, such as the instantly recognisable monogram and hues of gold and brown.
Gucci

Based in Florence, Gucci was founded in 1921 by Italian businessman and designer Guccio Gucci. The brand quickly became one of the most recognised and respected worldwide, thanks to its innovative designs and distinctive branding.
Gucci’s iconic red and green colour scheme is echoed in the car design with gold detailing that reflects the brand’s elegance.
Burberry

Britain’s own Burberry was first established in 1856 by forward-thinking gentlemen’s outfitter Thomas Burberry and is instantly recognisable by the Burberry check pattern which was primarily used as a lining in its trench coats.
The iconic tartan print is reflected in the AI-generated car’s design, rendered here in the brand’s famous hues of red, brown, and black.
Prada

Established in 1913, Italian heavyweight Prada is one of the most recognisable fashion creators in the world.
The brand is well-known for its understated glamour and refined elegance, traits which are echoed within this vehicle’s design.
Versace

Founded by the late Gianni Versace in 1978, fashion empire Versace is a more recently established brand but still world-famous for its signature looks and bold designs.
Versace’s trademark colours of black and gold feature in the car’s bodywork, as well as unique symbols and patterns which the brand is renowned for.
Valentino

Valentino is another Italian fashion brand that was founded in 1960 by Valentino Garavani and is well-known for its simple combination of elegance, refinement, and trademark “Valentino Red” colour scheme.
That Valentino Red shines through in this AI generated vehicle design, which also takes on the look of an ultra-sleek supercar.
Fendi

Italian company Fendi, founded in 1925, is all about ‘artisanal savoir-faire, luxury and contemporary design’, according to the brand itself.
Fendi is instantly recognisable for its signature print of the double-F monogram, and its leather bags are a must-have across the globe.
While the double-F monogram isn’t obviously evident in this AI design, Fendi’s trademark yellow colour is.
Givenchy

Givenchy is a French luxury fashion house that has long dressed the most famous Hollywood A-listers, going right back to Audrey Hepburn in the 1950s.
The brand is characterised by simplicity and elegance which is portrayed in the vehicle’s slick design and black and white colour scheme.
Miu Miu

Miu Miu is a subsidiary of high-end fashion house Prada, with both companies headquartered in Milan, Italy.
Known for being rebellious and provocative, our AI design-bot appears to have taken inspiration here from Miu Miu’s iconic pink handbags.
