Christmas is coming! To prepare for the most wonderful time of year, we’ve rounded up some of the capital’s finest festive feasting menus, perfect for group get-togethers and pre-Christmas celebrations with your nearest and dearest.

Gaucho

Savour Festive celebrations the South American way at Gaucho. From intimate family affairs to big office blowouts and pre-Christmas parties with pals, Gaucho’s group dining menus, include the Signature (£75pp), Sharing (£62.50) and Feast (£85). In addition to Gaucho’s signature sustainable steaks, enjoy showstopping starters such as sea bass ceviche and beef empanada starters; merry mains like chimichurri butter roasted turkey with Poncho Criollo Malbec and cranberry stuffing. 

Lunar Pub Co – The Apollo Arms, Ganymede & The Hunter’s Moon

From 1st December, step into Christmas at South London neighbourhood spots, The Apollo Arms (Clapham), Ganymede (Belgravia) and The Hunter’s Moon (Kensington) and take your pick from the à la carte menu or enjoy two courses for £50, three courses for £60, from the set menus. Created by Owner Chef Director Oliver Marlowe, enjoy elevated seasonal dishes such as chicken and rabbit terrine with Armagnac prune and tarragon mayonnaise; butter roast turkey with all the trimmings; and Christmas pudding ice cream with warm madeleines and frosted pecans.

Rick Stein Barnes

Celebrate with Cornish-inspired Christmas dishes at Rick Stein in Barnes including two courses for £29 and three courses for £32 at lunch, plus three courses for £35 at dinner. This year’s menu is full of comforting seafood specials such as smoked haddock with Davidstow Cheddar rarebit and red mullet spaghettini. Be sure to leave room for the boozy Christmas pudding for dessert. Available from 25th November until 1st January at Rick Stein Barnes (excluding 25th, 26th & 31st December). 

Bōkan 37 

Dine on decadent menus by Executive Chef Robert Manea at sky-high award-winning restaurant Bōkan 37whilst admiring 360° views of London’s iconic skyline. Choose between two courses for £49pp, three for £59pp or experience the chef’s show stopping seven-course tasting experience for £99pp, and delight in dishes of warming onion soup with Gruyère cheese; organic turkey breast with dates, chestnuts and berries; and the special Bokan Christmas tree to end the meal.

The Cinnamon Collection 

Add some spice to your festivities at Executive Chef Vivek Singh’s Cinnamon Collection. With the tandoor oven fired up at The Cinnamon Club, Cinnamon Bazaar, Cinnamon Kitchen City and Battersea, indulge in a range of modern Indian plates full of flavour, with individual and large sharing dishes, such as roast goose breast with nutmeg & peppercorn sauce; and smoked venison roast root vegetables and Rajastani corn sauce. Prices start from £50pp; available throughout November and December.

M Threadneedle Street

From comforting classics to innovative creations, go big at The City’s ultimate gastro-playground, M. Spotlighting ingredients sourced from outstanding ethical producers, choose from the Classic (£60), Signature (£75) and Icons (£90) group dining menus. Giving a flavour of M’s favourites, indulge in seafood starters from cobia tartare to trout sashimi; before the main event: 100% carbon neutral Argentinian rump steak; shio koji marinated chicken and more. Explore the accessible and aspirational wine list, before ending on a high with a selection of decadent desserts. 

Straits Kitchen, Pan Pacific London

Delight in Singaporean-inspired Asian flavours as Straits Kitchen serves a four-course festive feast from 13th November at £85 per person. Begin with a snow crab golden cup before perfectly crispy Peking duck, served with steamed Pandan Mantou buns, hibiscus plum sauce and caviar. The main event is a succulent mixed peppercorn Sarawak Salai skirt steak with sticky, turmeric rice and seasonal sides before an indulgent chocolate sphere dessert from Executive Pastry Chef Francesco Maninno. Vegan and vegetarian alternatives are available.
